Destination Europe Travel Testimonials

Mr. T. Riegle, Edison, NJ

Kayla:

We wanted to drop you a note to thank you for all your help with our recent vacation to Italy. It was simply a phenomenal trip! You put together a package which was exactly what we asked for ? organized activities coupled with ample free time to explore on our own, and smaller quaint (yet elegant) accommodations. And the packet of paperwork you put together for us (vouchers, transfers, rail tickets, etc.) was so well organized and detail oriented that we had absolutely no trouble whatsoever, even considering we don't speak one word of Italian!

In Rome, our accommodations were the most unique. It wasn't really even a hotel ? when the cab driver brought us there; we thought we must be in the wrong place! "Casa Montani" actually consists of one hallway in a condominium/office building, and there are only 5 rooms. They give you a key to the front door and you're in and out with the locals. Yet there is someone available at all times for service requests. The bathroom was marble; the linens were exquisite; and breakfast was served in our room. And the location was perfect ? within 20 minutes walking distance of every major sight! We never once took a cab except to the train station ? we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go (and we went everywhere.)

We also liked the Hotel David in Florence very much. It was only a block from the Arno River and about a 15-minute walk from the Ponte Vecchio. The room was spacious; the staff was very friendly and helpful; and besides a full breakfast, every day they held "happy hour" in the lobby where they served wine & hors d'oeuvres and you were able to mingle with the other guests, which was fun. They also offered a "perk" of 10 minutes free phone time to the US daily, which was great!

Finally, the Abbazia "de Luxe" in Venice is a satellite of the main Hotel Abbazia ? the "de Luxe" has just 4 rooms. Ours was directly overlooking the Grand Canal. And again, the staff was helpful and accommodating; breakfast was quite good; and the location was perfect.

Finally, we want to comment on the tours you arranged for us. Your instructions as to times and places to meet were perfect, and we had no trouble meeting up with our guides, whose presentations were upbeat and informative. In the museums, we were guided by the most knowledgeable art historians who were friendly, interesting and spoke excellent English.

We simply can't thank you enough for putting together such a wonderful trip for us! We will certainly be in touch with you again next time we plan to travel to Europe, and we definitely won't hesitate to recommend your services to friends.

Kayla:

Our trip to Paris and Provence was even better than we had imagined. Once again we gave you short notice, but you came through for us with flying colors. Everything, transportation, hotel accommodations, day tours were excellent. This was our second trip with you planning all of the details ? truly amazing! I would not hesitate to recommend Destination Europe to anyone and we will never consider any other travel agent.

Thanks again for the travel experience of a lifetime.

Hi Kayla!

Forgive me for the tardiness of this note. I came back from the trip, repack my bag and did a house sitting gig. I have just now been able to upload my photos and tell you what a great trip this was!

Your efficient planning enabled Chris and I to make the most of the few days we were in Rome and Paris. The small boutique hotels that you chose for us were perfectly located with a very delicious variety of breakfast selections at both. We were able to walk or conveniently take the metro (cleanest I've ever experienced) to wherever we wanted to go. In both Rome and Paris our hotel hosts were helpful, friendly and accommodating.

Although I was in awe of the Coliseum, Vatican, Sistine Chapel, food, shops, etc. in Rome, I fell in love with Paris! I would love to travel there again then travel to some of the more rustic parts of France where I could enjoy the food and countryside.

Thank you so very much for all your expert help in planning a much enjoyed trip. Chris and I have been best friends for over 40 years. I can't think of a better way of celebrating our friendship then with this well thought out trip you put together for us.

Best Regards,

Judith

Hi Kayla,

I must say when I first booked an Italian vacation over the Internet without any references, I was a bit skeptical. But, after following your planned trip to Rome, Florence, and Venice we could not have been more pleased. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the arranged transportation, to guided tours, to lodging. People have asked us the best part of the trip and it really is hard to say. Seriously, I am the type of person to be quite candid, especially when spending a good bit of money, but this trip was perfect!

We want to go back soon! I would highly recommend everything you picked out on our trip and your company to anyone looking for a custom trip to Europe. We will certainly be repeat customers. Thanks again for your help. Great job!!

Good Morning Kayla,

Please excuse me for not responding sooner to your welcome home message. The trip was outstanding. The organization of tickets and vouchers was exact. We had no problems with any scheduling issues. The weather was a bonus, 70's every day.

We were inconvenienced by having to buy some spring clothes and lots of sandals, but we managed to meet the challenges of Olympic grade shopping in both London and Paris. We even had time to connect with my cousins and their families while in Paris. We were on the move every minute. I realize that next time I will need to add some extra time just to relax along the way. I sincerely hope I get to plan another trip and I will not hesitate to contact you Kayla, to help plan it out. You did a great job.

Many thanks,

Louise

Hi Kayla

We had a wonderful time. ALL the accommodations were first rate and in wonderful locations which made getting around very easy. The rooms, beds and bathrooms were wonderful. My friends loved the Parador in Ronda as I expected. For ambience, we loved the small hotel Isabel la Real in Granada. The staff was very attentive and gave wonderful personal service. It really made the trip a pleasure having such nice accommodations.

Kayla, we loved all the bookings you made. Also, I was impressed with the package you sent with all the vouchers, maps, etc. It was easy to follow.

Thanks for everything ? we look forward to working with you again in the future!

Mr. C. Comasco, Hanahan, SC

Kayla,

Thanks so much! We'd be happy to share some testimony of our trip. Here goes

FANTASTIC TRIP! My wife and I recently took our honeymoon to Italy. While searching for a travel agent, I contacted Kayla and gave her an idea of the price I wanted to pay and the places we wanted to visit. In a short time she had devised a spectacular itinerary that well exceeded our expectations.

We decided to book with her, but when we did, our Venetian hotel had already filled up. She quickly provided us an alternative, which turned out to be an upgrade in accommodations. At the airport, we needed assistance with some airline information ? Kayla assisted us within minutes. We started our trip in Rome. Our driver was prompt and knowledgeable. We stayed at the Roma Boutique Hotel (a stone's throw from the US Embassy). We also went on two guided tours provided by Dark Rome tour company. Incredible! Wonderful guides ? excellent sights!

Our 1st class accommodations to Venice were well worth it. Our hotel in Venice was spectacular ? Relais Venezia. Our favorite stop was next ? Lake Como. We stayed at the La Perla Hotel which had the best staff in all of Italy, and the best view of Lake Como. We can't say enough good things about this place.

In Milan we stayed at the Hotel Lancaster. Our room was enormous. We also did another tour hosted by Dark Rome. In all, the trip exceeded every expectation we had. Prior to leaving, Kayla sent us a package with all of train tickets, vouchers for drivers, hotels and tours. We had ZERO worries while traveling and the trip was an utter breeze. My wife and I want to personally thank Kayla for all of her help and we highly recommend her services!

Thanks again for your help.

Kayla,

You and your staff did such an amazing job planning our European Honeymoon. While coordinating and planning the trip you were always very prompt when returning emails and addressing all my questions and needs. The hotels you used where exactly what we were looking for unique, fabulous and in great locations. Each hotel had personality and characteristics that made it special. The hotel staff where very nice and helpful. The transportation that was set up to pick us up and drop us off at the different airports on our trip was very convenient and professional. It was nice not to have to worry about all the details while traveling. You provided an outline of our entire trip with the times and dates listed so I never had to worry about anything.

While traveling, one of our flights time was changed and it would have caused us a serious delay in our travel plans. We were unaware of this change, but you emailed us along with the hotel where we were staying. You notified us of the change and informed us that you had been able to get us on another flight which made our travel much less complicated. I was happy to know that you were still checking on things while we were traveling to make sure that our travel plans went accordingly.

Thanks to you our Honeymoon was fantastic! We were able to enjoy every minute knowing that all the details were taken care of by you! I will defiantly use you again the next time I travel to Europe and will recommend you to friends.

Mrs. N. Koziol, Ann Arbor, MI

Thank you, Kayla, for putting together the greatest vacation EVER. Kris and I cannot get over what turned out to be the perfect sixteen days in Europe. PERFECT.

I saw your email and we were planning on sending you our impressions... everything was positive. We'll also be putting together some pictures and links to our travel blog for things you might find especially interesting.

When you have time, can you please mail me a few of your business cards - we will definitely be handing them out to our friends who want to go to Europe. We could not have been more satisfied with how everything went.

I'll get into it more in my follow-up email, but the tapas tour in Barcelona was outstanding. It was way more than we thought it would be and we ended up having an amazing night with our guide - we all just really clicked.

Thank you again!

Nancy

Dear Kayla,

What a wonderful time we had on our trip to Rome, Positano, Tuscany, and Paris. The Hotel Fontana in Rome ended up just perfect for us with its old-world feel and absolutely heart of Rome location. We could literally step into the Trevi fountain from the front door of the hotel. The Gelato shop right next door got a lot of business from us! The Nutella flavor was my favorite. There was also a great leather goods store about 3 store fronts down where we bought several items to take home at really good prices.

Then on to Positano or its other name - Heaven. Thank you for choosing that town and the La Rosa dei Venti for us. I had never seen anything as beautiful. Standing on our terrace overlooking Positano spread out over the hills, lights twinkling, and the full moon painting an iridescent path straight to us is a sight I will never forget in my whole life. Although our original tour to Capri was cancelled due to rough seas, "Laura", the contact for the tour company, worked hard and found us an alternative boat to the island. I'm so glad we got to go! The chairlift to the top of the island was breathtaking! And so different from anything else we did on our trip. We also found "Antonio Viva" the sandal maker featured on Giada's cooking show episode of Capri. We all bought handmade sandals and loafers to take home : )

Our hotel in Tuscany, Fattoria degli Usignoli, was a little off the beaten path and was a challenge to find every time we returned after our days outings. You knew it when you were booking us and tried to book us elsewhere. But I insisted..... : ) Anyway, it was amazing once we would get there. The views made your heart flutter!

Then on Thursday we squeaked in Pisa and the Leaning Tower on the way to the airport just in the nick of time to catch our plane to Paris. The Hotel Duquesne Eiffel was more than I ever dreamed it could be. The view of the Eiffel Tower from the balcony of our room was incredible. It had to be the best view in the entire city. I sat out there several evenings in the glow of the Tower when everyone else had gone to bed. The beds and linens were very fine, the best we had during our trip. I told the staff I felt like a princess going to sleep in that bed. The location of the hotel was for us perfect as we wanted to be very close to the Eiffel Tower. Other locations in the city were not as convenient to the hotel but the bus stops and metro were only 2 blocks away and so we had access to everything at our fingertips. I did make it to Rue Cler. It was very, very, early one morning when everyone else was sleeping in and I was ready to start my Paris day. I took your suggestion to walk the few blocks to Rue Cler and it was delightful. The shop owners were preparing for the new day and it was so interesting to see all their busyness and the "inner workings" for carrying on real life in Paris.

We had a wonderful time Kayla. Thank you for your work in planning and coordinating everything. The trip folder/packet was so easy to use with everything in order to just pull out the next voucher/ticket/etc. I hope to work with you again in the future on my next adventure!!

Sincerely,

Rita Dean

Kayla,

You did an excellent job putting our trip together! Everything went really well. The hop-on/hop-off buses were great! We saw everything we wanted to see and then some and they kept our transportation costs to a minimum. We only had to take a taxi a couple of times, which was really nice. The hotels were excellent. We were outside the tourist areas, so it was safe and quiet. We felt really comfortable everywhere we stayed.

We especially loved the Synopsis Hotel in Amsterdam. It made our trip. The owner, Elizabeth, was wonderful. She visited with us on several occasions, helped us get where we needed to be, brought us homemade breakfast to our room, and did our laundry. It was perfect for a last stop. You should definitely send people there again. I would love to write a letter for you as soon as I have a few minutes. I'll try to send you something with a picture or two before the weekend. We just want to express our gratitude to you though. This was the best trip we have ever taken as far as how well it was planned and how much we got to do. You made it easy for us. Thank you so much!

Hi Kayla,

Our trip was wonderful! You did an amazing job with accomodations, travel and tours. We loved all three of the accomodations, they each had their own personality and were very comfortable. We did not have an issues with anything that you arranged. I will send pictures and more info when I get it organized.

Thanks Again,

Hi Kayla,

We just want to say what a wonderful vacation to Italy that we had. Your planning and knowing the hotels we stayed in was greatly appreciated. At all 3 hotels the staff were very friendly and conveniently located. It was great having the itineraries planned out for our visit in Rome, Florence and Venice.

We would also like to say that you were always available for any questions we had and responded to our emails very promptly. We highly recommend your service for anyone that wants to go to Europe and will call you for our next trip. Thanks again for all you did for us.

Kim, Bill, Carol and Bill.

Mr. B. Robison, Columbus, OH

Kayla,

We had a wonderful time. Thank you for your welcome back message. It was an amazing trip. We saw so much.

We had another problem that I have not talked with you about. We had to buy tickets to get back from Edinburgh to London. The numbers that you gave us were not valid numbers according to the ticket kiosk, and we talked with two different ticket agents, both of whom said that the numbers you gave us were not valid numbers for the train company. So we were not able to obtain those tickets. We spent over one hundred pounds on new tickets to get back to London. We are still unpacking. I will send you an email outlining our expenses, and see what the next steps are.

Versailles was a high point of the trip. So was the Eiffel Tower. The people in Scotland were all very friendly, and Scotland was a real treat. But London was probably my favorite city. It was a lot of walking, and everyone moves at a fast pace, but there was so much to see and do.

I would be pleased to write a testimonial for your website. We really had the trip of a lifetime, and we saw so much. Everyone we told about our trip was amazed that we saw so much. We look forward to working with you again!

Kayla,

The trip was absolutely AMAZING!!! All the accommodations were incredible (especially the hotel in Florence). Everything went extremely smoothly with no complications. Thank you so much for putting the honeymoon package together. It was truly the trip of a lifetime.

In gratitude,

Hi Kayla,

We had a great time. Everything went like clockwork. The hotels were perfect. Great rooms, service and food. The Frankfurt hotel was fantastic. To Germany we were upgraded to a suite on the 16th floor with a spectacular view of the river; On our return we were upgraded to a large stylish apartment - two bedroom, two baths, full kitchen and living room. In Krakow we had a beautiful suite with a large window overlooking the huge central plaza.

Our other hotels were also perfect. They were all in beautiful historic locations, and they were all very spacious beautifully decorated rooms and with state-of-the-art bathrooms.

Your package of tickets, itinerary and instructions were perfect. We enjoyed the tours, train trips and hotels. Thanks for making our vacation a truly memorable experience.

Sincerely,

Richard and Bev Popko

Hi Kayla,

We arrived safely home from our wonderful 30th Anniversary trip to London, Paris, and Amsterdam, tired and full of lots of great memories.

London ? Flight on Delta was good. Flights were on time and the layover in Detroit wasn't too bad. It was pretty much a ?no frills' flight, so no movies, or real meals were provided.

The Darlington Hyde Park Hotel was great. Quaint little hotel in a row building that housed several other hotels. Staff was nice and breakfast was great. We had free Wi-Fi in our room. The hotel was in a good location. Not far of a walk to The Tube.

The bus trip to Windsor Castle, Bath, and Stonehenge was nice. Traffic was pretty bad in and around London (thanks to President Obama showing up early!), so we had limited time at each location. But enjoyed the day. They did not pick us up at our hotel but we were able to walk to another hotel for the pickup. The return trip did not include transportation back to the hotel. They dropped people off at several central locations near public transportation. This worked out fine and we had them drop us off near Harrods's.

The Euro train was great. We had assigned seats.

The Hotel Pantheon in Paris was wonderful. We had a view of the Pantheon from our room. It was in a great location. We had free Wi-Fi in our room. Lots of great, inexpensive restaurants and cafes nearby.

The breakfast was excellent. We missed 1 breakfast because they were not open in time for us to have breakfast before our Champagne Region tour.

The Hop on bus and Museum passes worked out great. We were able to avoid the lines at the museums. The assigned time for the Eiffel Tower worked out great. It was very crowded and they had closed off the top floor to people buying tickets, but that did not affect us since we had a priority time.

The trip to the Champagne Region was fabulous. Laura was our tour guide. There were 3 couples and Laura. We had confirmed our tour and she was right on time. We picked up the other 2 couples at their hotels. The trip included a wonderful lunch and we were dropped off right at our hotel.

The driver that took us to the train station was early and very polite. The train ride was great and we had assigned seats.

Overall, we were very happy with the work that you did. You arranged for us to do the maximum amount of tours and trips in the limited time we had available. Your foresight in planning everything was very much appreciated. The package we received with our tickets, maps, and itinerary was very complete and professional. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

Hello Kayla,

We are currently here in Athens airport with some time to kill while waiting for our flight back to NJ... I would just like to thank you again for your great work in arranging our vacation to Greece... we had a WONDERFUL time throughout, and I am now a bit sad about leaving Greece [and returning to work soon :( ]... all your vouchers and pre-arrangements worked-out quite well; we just discovered that everything is approximately 15 minutes delayed in Greek time... everybody treated us very well... I don't know if you had something to do with it, but we had an upgraded room in Petasos (in Mykonos) and we got a free bottle of champagne from all of our hotels upon our arrival...

O&B in Athens was very nice with convenient location for walking around and exploring the city by ourselves; the staff over there were very helpful... the room and the view at Mill House in Santorini was my favorite among all accommodations... but Naxos, unexpectedly, became our favorite part of the itinerary - I'm glad we decided to add this in the itinerary... it was quite relaxing, easy-going and not very touristy (in comparison to the other islands) over there... I would recommend Hotel Kavos for all your other clients - but with an additional advice to rent a car to experience the whole island while staying there...

Barbara, and the rest of the staff in Kavos were great and friendly - they made this funny mistake of preparing a card greeting us for a "silver" wedding anniversary... I enjoyed driving in the Greek islands... again, all your advise and recommendations were right on - it was so much better that we had less tours and more time to decide what else to do/where to go by ourselves...

I'm afraid I may not have more time to write you a longer/more detailed email - as I am expecting the work waiting for me to be quite hectic... hopefully, the next time I email you will be when we are requesting for another travel arrangements - maybe for Vienna and Prague...

Hey Kayla,

Everything was PERFECT!!!! We had an amazing time and everything was on point. All of the pickups were on time and the hotels were centrally located and the staff was all amazing. For our first time to Europe it was a great experience, and we want to thank you for making it such a smooth and effortless Honeymoon.

We would definitely recommend your company to family and friends for their future travels, and look forward to working with you again. Once we settle in we will send you photos of our trip ... Thanks, Steven

Hi Kayla,

Thank you for the welcome home greetings. The trip went exactly as planned. The weather was wet, but workable.

Once again, your company came through helping to make the trip a stress free and memorable time. My travel companion was impressed. I told her every driver, tour guide and accommodation would be on-time, and wonderful. All drivers to and from airports, trains and hotels were on-time and friendly. The driver from the airport in Paris gave us a tip of a hotel with a fabulous view of Paris. It was close to our apartment and he was correct!

Our guide with driver, in Paris was knowledgeable and accommodating. I am always impressed with the driving skills of these drivers on these private tours. They get us up-close to sites and this allows the guide to explain without having to drive, and then they meet us on the other side as we walk through neighborhoods or large historical sites.

The train to Caen was an enjoyable trip to enjoy the French countryside. The car was waiting at Avis just across the street from the train station. I do wish I had ordered GPS, but we always found our way. We traveled over 1000 km, using the country home as a base to wonderful towns such as Bayeux, Caen, and Domfort.

I really enjoyed our tour of the Normandie D-Day area. Olivier was our guide, and with him, we agreed upon the sites we wanted to visit within our 8 hour tour. The American Cemetery is a beautiful, humbling area devoted to honoring the men who gave their lives during the D-Day invasion. Olivier asked about our luncheon needs, and when we said we wanted a simple lunch, he had a place with the best Quiche Lorraine. Well, he was correct; it was a fantastic meal, right by the beach. We went on to enjoy the Tapestry of Bayeux and a wonderful Notre Dame cathedral in Bayeux.

Our return to Paris and staying at the boutique Hotel Keppler was the perfect end to our trip. It was so close to the Champs Elysees, making for a wonderful afternoon of strolling to the Eiffel Tower, enjoying a lunch at a café and people watching, and ending at the Arc de Triomphe for the evening parade of veterans to place flowers at the eternal flame of their unknown soldier. It is amazing that the police stop traffic around the busiest rotary I've seen, to allow this tradition to continue. The hotel was the best you have booked for me. I thought the hotels in Italy were great, but I really enjoyed this hotel.

Again, Kayla, the services offered by your firm are of the highest quality and the attention to detail so important on a long trip. I would always recommend your firm to anyone planning a European vacation. This trip to France was not planned in my life, but whenever a wonderful opportunity presents itself, I have learned to go with it. I do hope, in the future, I will have the opportunity to work with you, again.

Best regards,

Elaine

Hi Kayla,

Thanks again for helping us plan a wonderful trip! It was amazing seeing all those places finally, but I especially enjoyed the beauty and tranquility of Lake Como and Lucca.

The owner of Hotel La Darsena in Lake Como was incredibly gracious and kind, and our room had a spectacular view. The Alloro B&B in Florence was very conveniently located and our room was spacious and comfortable.

Thank you again and best regards,

Deanna

Dear Kayla,

Thank you so much for planning such a wonderful trip to Italy for my sister and me! We had a marvelous time visiting Lake Como, Venice, Florence and Tuscany.

The itinerary you put together for us really maximized our short time in each of the different locations; it was a very enjoyable mix of free time to explore on our own, and tours to provide sightseeing that we could not have readily done on our own. I especially enjoyed the tour into Tuscany, visiting San Gimignano, Siena, and wine tasting in Chianti. Our tour guide was most engaging and informative, really adding to the experience of the day.

Our accommodations you found for us were great values -- clean, well located, and with incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Our favorite was La Darsena in Tremezzo in Lake Como, located right on the lake opposite Bellagio, with an incredible view and the most hospitable propiertor, Ezio.

Thanks again for putting together such a memorable vacation?it would have been such a monumental effort for us to plan that same vacation on our own!

I hope to have you plan many more European vacations in the near future!

Best regards,

Kayla,

Gordon and I would like to congratulate you on organizing such a wonderful trip to France and Germany. This was our first time to the European continent and had no clue where to start. After my initial list of things we wanted to see you managed to produce a wonderful itinerary with a week both in France and Germany. The tours were fabulous and the people who led them were so knowledgeable and helpful.

All the hotels you found were reeking of charm and old world ambiance. The staff at each hotel was most accommodating. Even the limo drivers were prompt and helpful. The Normandy tour, as well as the Giverny tour, was so enlightening. Our all day cruise down the Rhine River was spectacular. I got so many pictures of all the castles lined along the riverbanks.

We will most definitely use your services again in the future when we return to visit Spain, Italy and Greece. Thank you for such wonderful memories.

Kayla,

We have just returned from our dream vacation to Europe and want to send you a great big thank you for the excellent arrangements your agency made for us. We had the time of our lives and owe it all to your fine hotel and service selection. Every transfer was right on time and provided excellent service, they even waited for us when we were held up at the Madrid customs station.

The hotels you booked for us were all excellent and were in great locations for us to be able to take advantage of everything we wanted to see in every location. I can't say enough about the hotels you selected each one was a pleasure and very well located, they allowed us to see many sights by walking. Your selections proved to be much better than the Hiltons we stayed in and I wish I had let you pick the hotels everywhere.

All of the tours you booked for us were very good and we enjoyed all of them. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience and all the memories and friends we made. I will definitely recommend your agency to any of our friends who are planning a trip to Europe and will definitely use you again in the future. Thank you again for your expert service.

Hi Kayla,

We had an awesome time! The transportation pick-ups that you arranged worked out great. It was wonderful having someone pick us up so we didn't have to worry about getting to or from our hotel. By the way, the Rome hotel was wonderful. Our room overlooked the Roman Forum ? it was perfect! We enjoyed our tours very much ? especially the two in Rome (the guides were excellent).

The only difficulty we had was finding the Hilton shuttle at the airport when we returned from Morocco. My son did a great job of arranging our Morocco visit as well. We got to see a lot in the nine days we were there.

Thank you for helping to make this a very memorable trip for us. I would definitely recommend you and Destination Europe for people planning European vacations ? especially if it would be there first time there.

We took lots of pictures. Here are a few. Thanks again for all you did!

Hi Kayla,

I can't really think of anything you could have done differently to make our trip better. We all had an awesome time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. This is the second time I've contacted you to organize my trips to Europe and both experiences have been great. You pretty much have me as a repeat customer!

Our trip was a blast!! Thanks again for all your help. We look forward to the next time we work with you!

Hi Kayla,

Our family has just returned from the most beautiful vacation we've ever had, thanks to you.

For years, it has been a desire of ours to visit Italy, but just the thought of planning a custom itinerary to a foreign country seemed impossible. We also never thought we could get away for a two week time period.

The itinerary included everything we wanted to see and do, and then some. You made it so simple for us to follow with detailed instructions and directions. The drivers picked us up exactly when and where they were supposed to. And they were all very polite and helpful. The tours were fun and informative and we never had to wait in the long lines for tickets. It was amazing to think that we were walking on the same ground that famous emperors, soldiers, artists, and Popes had walked on centuries before.

The hotels were all centrally located, had friendly staff, very clean, and had great continental breakfasts. There was never a shortage of excellent restaurants or shopping in Rome, Florence or Venice. Although each location had their own pace and delicious flavors.

One of the highlights of the trip was our private and memorable Chianti Wine Tour. Our first stop was going to be a small town called Greve. Along the way, our tour guide, Giacomo, asked if we would like to make a quick stop at a US memorial. We told him that we would. Well, as soon as we arrived, my eyes swelled up with tears. For a moment we thought we were in Normandy, France. There were several sections and rows and rows of white crosses and stars of David, and a huge wall with lists of names of unknown soldiers from WWII.

Giacomo got out of the car and walked silently with us. I thanked him for allowing us the privilege to visit this memorial. And I also told him how significant it was to us because both my father and father-in-law fought in that war. And furthermore, the day he brought us there happened to be the 4th of July! What an unforgettable way to commemorate our freedom! When we got back into the car, he gave us a brief history lesson of what Florence endured during that time period.

We brought our two college aged sons with us and I have to say they had so much fun, especially in Florence. The after dark gathering place for the younger crowd seemed to be on the steps of the Duomo. Since our hotel was well within walking distance, transportation would not be an issue late at night. They met locals and exchange students and shared customs, talked about music, and some even became face book friends. Language was no barrier.

We have lots of pictures, souvenirs, and family memories of our first trip to Europe. It was like a dream come true. Everything went like clockwork, was hassle free, and I can't imagine not letting you plan our next trip. I am highly recommending your company to family and friends.

Hi Kayla -

We are finally getting back to normal from our absolutely effortless Italian vacation! The way you organized every single detail made our trip stress free and fantastico! We absolutely fell in love with the owner of the Villani salami plant and our driver for that day.

We have acquired a few new Italian friends. Every single tour we took was flawless, the drivers were great, and the voucher system worked out to be simple and fun. The history lessons, the sites, as well as the memories we have are priceless. Enjoyed every single part of our vacation. Thank you again so much for all your work and attention to details.

Your type of service beats out the traditional travel agent or doing travel plans yourself by a million miles!! I am confident we could not have had such a great trip without you. The surprise for Hayden worked out perfectly so i again thank you for keeping all our communications on the down low for so long :)

She was truly surprised!, shocked!, and thrilled!!!

Thank you again so very much,

Cindy

Kayla,

Thank you so much for organizing our Europe trip. I know that planning a three-week, eight-destination trip for a family of five presented you with extraordinary challenges, but you succeeded admirably. Even experienced travelers could benefit from your wide-ranging knowledge and your remarkable organizational skills. Every transfer was correctly booked, drivers appeared on cue, hoteliers welcomed us even when we were early, concert tickets and dinner reservations never failed. We frequently were greeted with, "Oh, you know Kayla!" and I would be reminded again why we didn't want to do all of the preparation ourselves.

The hotels were not only consistently fine, but they were the right hotels for our particularly crew. The itinerary was perfectly planned. At each stop the cultural treasures were increasingly amazing; the food and wine just kept getting better. With all that, the thing that we keep coming back to is the astonishing quality of the private tour guides. In every city the guides were genial, generous with their time, erudite, and passionate about their subjects.

We're already talking about the next trip. And we won't try to do it without you.

Cheers,

Linda and James Ivy

Hi Kayla,

Sorry for taking so long to write back. We've been crazy busy since we've been back........

The whole trip was incredible!! Where to start?!?! All of the things you had setup for us (tours, trains, hotels, etc.) went very smooth and nice. The transfers to and from the airport were terrific. Paris was our favorite overall city experience. There is just so much to see and do there and it is so close together. Walking along the river is so peaceful and relaxing. The art and history are amazing. We especially enjoyed the Hotel du Pantheon. Thanks for picking that one out for us. The staff was terrific and the quaintness was really nice. We really enjoyed the museum pass (definitely got our money's worth on that) and open top bus. So, Paris was a fantastic experience and we would definitely go back some day.

The hotels in Venice and Lucerne, being right near the train stations was very nice and convenient..... No hassle with cabs. Just walk to the hotel! the only thing about the hotel in Venice was that depending on what room you got, it could be noisy since the front rooms are right on the grand canal above a bar and restaurant. The first night we had a room in the back of the hotel that was peaceful and quiet. The second night they offered us a free upgrade to the suite, which was an awesome room. The only thing was is that it was right above the restaurant so it was very loud until 3-4 in the morning. We knew what we were getting into so it didn't bother us for one night, but just wanted you to know in case you pick that hotel for others.

The hotel golden in Rome was terrific. Your friend Giuseppe was extremely nice and helpful and very thorough and friendly!! He suggested many wonderful restaurants and mapped out for us what the best routes to walk were and what the best ways to get around were. Also, the Dark Rome tours that you setup for us at the Colossuem and Vatican were outstanding! Our tour of the Colossuem might have been the highlight of the entire trip. Our guide, Angelo, was awesome.

All but one of the hotels had free WiFi.... that was great. The only one that didn't was the hotel in Lucerne, but the Starbucks next door did..... the WiFi made it easy for us to do 'face time' with our kids on the ipods, which made being apart from them much easier since we got to see and talk to them for FREE.

Thanks so much for doing such a wonderful job. Your planning took all the worry out of all the little things that we would have been really nervous to try to plan and book on our own.

By the way, we came back with 2.5 hours of video and almost 2,000 pictures!! Attached are some at low res for emailing. Thanks again! We'll definitely come back to you for our next trip to Europe....... London and Ireland maybe??? That may be several years away. :)

Hey Kayla,

I am so sorry this has taken so long. Anyways, we cannot thank you enough for such a wonderful trip! Everything went so very smoothly and it was a memorable and exciting honeymoon and your attention to details were amazing.

The hotel in Rome had the very best people there who went above and beyond our expectations. Our personal driver dropped us off in the middle of a busy street and was pointing where to go and traffic was zooming all around us....In haste, I left my purse in the van and as he was pulling away I realized it and it was too late. When we got to the hotel, the front desk handled calling for us and told us to go rest and have a good time, they would handle it. Well, I tried to not think about it, but it was hard. We had two cell phone, my camera and 40 dollars cash in there...that's it, so if it was gone, really no big deal, but at 10pm when we returned to the hotel my purse was waiting for me....unbelievably untouched!!! They had upgraded our room to an apartment; there were fresh flowers in our room. Night number two, we came in and there were candles lit all over the bedroom and a homemade cake wishing us a happy Honeymoon....the staff was amazing, so helpful and truly genuine people. We had a great time...bought some Italian shoes, ate and ate and ate and had an awesome tour guide (Claudia) for our tour of the Coliseum.

The next morning we were off to Sicily....Our favorite place in the world..we WILL be going back here. Our driver was very personable...we became fast friends with him while we were there...He spoke very good English and shared a lot of history with us on our way to the hotel. The hotel staff was also very nice and the views were amazing! Fresh seafood, great shopping, easy transfer to the beach and we rented a scooter and just drove and drove...Discovering not only a lot of small villages, but people....we met so many people who would just pull you into their shop. Or restaurant and instantly you were like family! The beach was amazing....but cold!!! The photos will speak for themselves... We can't tell you in words the amazing people we met, the experiences we had will last a lifetime!

Then on to Athens....we got in late...around 6:30pm. The hotel had an amazing view...The staff was great...had a bottle of wine and fresh fruit in our room. We did some shopping and dining that night and then had our tours the next morning.

The ferry trip from Athens to Santorini was beautiful though the cabin...perfect! A beautiful view of the islands from the ship! Finally to Santorini...we got an upgraded room..had champagne and Greek baklava in our room. The people were amazing...I cried as I stood out on the balcony overlooking this view that I have only dreamed of seeing. There were a flock of seagulls in formation, but just not moving at all...just riding the wind...I know it sounds silly, but it was amazing!

We now understand why European women have such great legs and butts!!! I swear we walked uphill both ways the entire time we were there....By the final 2 days we realized our favorite restaurant had free delivery and we parked ourselves on the balcony and made a few phone calls...:) No complaints here, it was beautiful.

We also experienced an earthquake the final night, but we were told it was commonplace...just scaring when your room is overlooking the top of a cliff!! Anyways, overall the trip was amazing...you did a fantastic job...we have sung your praises to everyone we know and will definitely use you again!

Thanks again for everything...

Hi Kayla,

I am sorry that I have taken so long to get back to you. Annapurna and I did have a wonderful trip to the "Four European Capitals." All the arrangements you made were excellent; I would give you a 5-star rating.

The arrangements for our travel and car pick-ups were fine. Annapurna had no difficulties with her rail trip to Onsabrueck and she enjoyed meeting all her friends.

Each of the hotels was very different. The Mercure in Berlin was fabulous; actually our room was quite like a suite. The breakfast buffet should never be missed. The Brussels hotel was quaint with all the rooms named for cities. I was in 'The Istanbul.' It seemed authentic to me. My favorite was Elisabeth's B&B called the Synopsis. She has just 4 rooms I think. She was the greatest hostess and served us breakfast in the garden daily. Hotel Madame in Paris was fine. It is in a particularly good location, close to the Metro. The two-day pass to the Museums was wonderful. We skipped the lines, even at Versailles.

Thanks for planning a great trip!

Hi Kayla,

Sorry it has taken me so long to send you a note regarding our trip. We have been home a little over a week and as you can imagine we have been trying to get back in the swing of things.

I wanted to say thanks to you and your staff. We had a great time! Everything was well planned by your office and we had absolutely no problems. All the transfers were right on time, flights were right on all the hotels were beautiful; the train was right on - nothing went wrong. I know that all has to do with your expert experience and knowledge of Europe. Thank you for your service. Your company is excellent and I will recommend your services to everyone.

Again, I want to say thank you for a job well done. There were 6 people in our group all coming from different parts of the United States and of course working with a budget. You did a great job for us and we had a trip of a lifetime we will never forget.

Thank you and aloha,

Judy Owen

Kayla,

I actually just referred someone to you last week. She is also taking her children to Europe and I told her I would definitely use your services again. You were so patient (especially with a difficult and indecisive client like me!) and you helped me so much when I had the cancelled flight.

We loved our trip so much, the tours that you arranged were all amazing and the places we stayed were all great. Taking the tours helped us to determine what we wanted to spend our time on in each destination and the accommodations were all very convenient and centrally located in each town. Since we had so many destinations, this was an amazing feat!

The accommodations in Tuscany were the best, I didn't want to leave! Everywhere we stayed was amazing, truly the trip of a lifetime. I loved that your instructions told me exactly what to do and when to do it, and what not to do, it helped our travel itinerary go very smoothly. The only snafus we had were with the airlines and you really came through for me when that happened and helped me rearrange my travel at the last minute due to the cancelled flight. I will definitely use your services again and would and have recommended you to others. You provided a truly excellent service and as a business owner myself I completely appreciate great customer service.

Thank you so much for a wonderful trip!

Thanks,

Hi, Kayla,

I am swamped back at work today but wanted to drop you a quick note to say that we had a wonderful trip and that your bookings and organization were outstanding. Bravo! I spent more money than the Greek bailout but everything was top notch.

Thank you for your excellent efforts - it was an unforgettable experience and my wife especially appreciated all the extra touches (like the Hotel Artemide in Rome giving us the Honeymoon Suite with a private rooftop terrace!!) Bellissimo!

You are simply the best and we will look forward to working with you again!!
